This notice explains how we handle information when you contact us through rbbuscon.com or book an exploratory meeting. It covers website enquiries and bookings; client engagements may involve additional information and requirements.
Who to contact
RB Business Consultants, 9 Cheyney Road, Lone Hill, Sandton, 2191, South Africa. For privacy enquiries, contact Robin Botha at enquiries@rbbuscon.com or +27 82 806 3872.
Information you provide
We receive the contact details and information you choose to share in your enquiry, such as your name, email address, telephone number and business requirements. A booking also includes the appointment details and any responses you provide on the booking form.
Providing information is voluntary. Without suitable contact details, we may be unable to respond or arrange your meeting. Please avoid sending identity documents, tax numbers, bank details or sensitive client records with an initial enquiry.
Why we use it
We use enquiry and booking information to respond to you and arrange your meeting, including relevant booking communications. We do not use these details to add you to newsletters or marketing lists.
Booking and other service providers
Our booking page uses Koalendar. Booking information is processed through its scheduling service and relevant calendar or communication providers. Read Koalendar’s privacy policy and data processing information. Its providers may process information outside South Africa.
Our website is hosted by Axxess. Hosting, email and security providers may process information necessary to operate these services. If you choose WhatsApp or an external map or social link, that provider’s privacy terms also apply.
Website technology
Website services can receive technical information such as an IP address and browser details. Third-party booking services may use cookies or similar technology. You can manage cookies through your browser, although blocking them may affect functionality.
We use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand website traffic and how visitors use our pages. We use it for traffic measurement, rather than advertising or remarketing. Analytics may use cookies and process information about page visits, browser and device details, referral sources and approximate location. Google may process information outside South Africa.
Read how Google uses information from websites using its services. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Keeping information
If your enquiry or booking does not lead to a client engagement, we delete the related records after six months. Records relating to client engagements are handled separately, including any applicable legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep. You may also object to processing where applicable. Contact us using the details above; we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can raise a privacy concern with us or lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator. Its enquiry contact is enquiries@inforegulator.org.za, telephone 010 023 5200.
